A new funding scheme of over £23 million has been launch to help local seaside resorts to grow.

The Coastal Communities Fund which has been launched by the Government will enable groups to apply for funding to help provide resorts with new opportunities such as training and transport projects and help to build stronger local economies all year round.

Social Enterprises, local business and charities can apply for the funding, which if successful will see them receive a grant of between £50,000 and £2 million.
